Get the most out of your truck by choosing from four capable engine options. The Silverado 1500’s standard 2.7-liter TurboMax™ High-Output engine delivers 310 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. It channels all that power to provide 9,500 pounds of towing capability, along with 2,260 pounds of payload capacity.

For more thrills, the Silverado 1500 offers two V8 engine options. The 5.3-liter EcoTec3 dynamo pumps out 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, while the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 dynamo unleashes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. With the 6.2-liter dynamo under the hood, your Silverado will provide up to 13,300 pounds of towing capacity. The 2024 model of the V8-powered Silverado 1500 lets you take your driving experience to the next level with Sport Mode and an active exhaust system, both designed to get your adrenaline pumping.

As in previous model years, the Silverado 1500 offers the reliable Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engine for a balance of efficiency and capability. It provides 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque, all while offering 13,300 pounds of towing power.

Both Trail Boss models boast a 2-inch factory suspension lift, skid plates, the Z71 Off-Road Package, Autotrac® two-speed transfer case, and an automatic locking rear differential.
